Getting "Error" message using KBE Manipulator
I'm getting the message "Error" when uploading a 32-bit KBE to my K2000. This has worked fine for a long time and is just now a problem. I was on version 3.6.0.0 or the KBE Manipulator before and noticed I'm on version 3.6.0.3 now. I don't know if the problem is the newer version but I'd love to try the previous version if I could find it to download. I've tried reinstalling WAIK and the media Manager to no avail. I found a similar post (http://www.itninja.com/question/kbe-manipulator-error) but the answer there did not help me. I hope someone out there knows what to do. I really need to get a KBE for a RSA setup.
Thanks!
EDIT: I forgot to mention I was able to upload a 64-bit KBE. Just 32-bit doen't work.

Hi
Have youinstalled the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) Supplement for Windows 7
http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=5188
It fix my issue.

Yes, I had it before when things were working fine. After KBEM update, I reinstalled WAIK and that did not help. - kcorrie 9 years ago

Yea I solved that one,
If 64 works and 32 does not you have problems with some of the 32bit files,
I am assuming win 7 pe 3.0.
Look in temp for kbem.log and see if it reveals any problems
Could be something with waik 32bit files, uninstall, delete the structure in progam files and reinstall the waik with the sp1 patch
Could also be bad files in your appdata-local-temp area. When you are done with the log file do a ctrl-a and select all files and folders in temp and delete all, skip any that do not delete.

also if you have extra options like the cctk checked and it cannot find the files that could be the problem. Try using no options at all and see if a 32 bit will upload - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago

The "Add DCCTK" option is not checked. It's grayed out and has "(Requires it to be installed)" next to it. - kcorrie 9 years ago

I don't have kbem.log in my temp folder. I reinstalled WAIK before posting so I installed the supplement like you suggested but that didn't work either. I can still upload 64-bit KBE's without a problem though.
I wish there was an archive for the KBE Manipulator. I feel in my gut that going back to 3.6.0.0 will resolve my problem. - kcorrie 9 years ago
