Finale 2004b and Vise vs. Shield

Any hints on repackaging this app? I've tried building it on 98, 2K and XP - I get a "Finale encountered an error - re-install Finale." on each platform. I don't think I'm missing anything from the snapshot, but obviously something's not there. FWIW - I'm using installer Vise and really missing my old friend ZENWorks... I see a lot of folks using InstallShield - any opinions on Vise vs. Shield vs. ZEN?

I successfully repackaged Finale 2004 using InstallShield 5.5. The package deployed and the application worked fine except that the jazz font, and other musical notation fonts, would not register properly. This caused garbage characters to be displayed on the musical score instead of notes. After spending days trying to solve the problem I decided to manually build another .msi to deploy just the font files. It's not an elegant solution but it worked.

I'm starting to wonder about Vise. I downloaded the InstallShield 5.5 demo and have been checking it out. Maybe it's time to try a different product. I had a similar experience to yours with IS - font problems. Since I can build a working installer in ZENworks, I thought today I'd try importing the ZEN installer to IS and see how that works. Thanks for the reply!
