how can i register files before installation in mst, it is because when i install packeg on vista VMW, it shows an error that failed to register file?
also i can not take the crook out from self register :(

Registration failure is almost always due to a) a brain-dead packager using the Selfreg table and b) missing dependencies for the file(s) being registered.
Not sure what this has to do with 'Distribution', though...a moderator may well move this post to 'Package Development' where I think it belongs.
