Error 1612 while deploying SP2 for Office 2003
I get MSI error 1612 when i try to deploy the SP2 patch for office 2003 Professional.
The command line that I am using is
msiexec.exe /update MAINSP2ff.msp /qn /L*v MS_Office_2003ProJUSTSP2.log REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus
The MSI Logs indicate that PRO11.msi is missing from MSOCACHE
Why is this happening and is there a way to fix it?

I believe the update switch is to update an administrative install. Given that, you would want to patch your administrative install, then run msiexec /i reinstall reinstallmode...
