Easy CD Creator 5 Auto Rebooting
Hi,
I'm trying to distribute Easy CD Creator Basic 5 via Group Policy. It all works and installs when the machine starts up, however, after it's installed, it auto reboots. I've opened the MSI in Orca, and found the property RebootYesNo, which was set to Yes, I've changed it to No, and redeployed the app, however it's still rebooting!
To get my current MSI I opened the supplied MSI in Orca, applied the 1033 transform, and saved it as a new MSI (This stops the value ####NEW_STRING#### being displayed in everywhere)
Can anyone suggest a way to supress this reboot?

Hi bjblackmore,
You can either add REBOOT=R on the property. Or try to see if it has custom action to force reboot the machine. If it has, then make this custom action absent on all sequence.

Adding the REBOOT=R worked, just uninstalled, then redeployed the app, and it installed with out rebooting!
