dynamically setting installdir based on the value of an appsearch
hi all,
i have the following requirement:-
do an xml app search and based on the value returned set the installdir.
therefore if the value returned for the appsearch is "Server" then i dont need to do anything and the files all get installed to D:\DATA\RCORE
If the value is "NOTFOUND" then i need to change the value of installdir to C:\Program Files\RCORE.
any ideas how to let the msi know how to dynamically change the installdir based on an app search?
all ideas welcome!

set the app search to INSTALLDIR2
Create a Set Directory CA which has a condition that matches the VALUE of INSTALLDIR2
