Hello,

Normal in SMS2003 is selecting a package and add distribution points.

I am in a roll-out of SMS 2003 and I am adding a lot of distribution points.
Now I want to distribute a selection of packages to 1 distribution point at the time. Is this possible and how can I do this?

Thanks and regards,
Kees

keesie I'm not 100% sure but if this points you in the right direction all good.

Look for anything to do with "scheduling"

I know you can schedule app installs....so its likely that you can also schedule child site updates.

Jim,

You're right. Schedule child updates is an option in SMS. But it is not the solution for my question. I am in a rollout proces and creating 400 (!) child/secundary sites. This is a long time process. And when one child is finished installing I want to make a selection of packages that I want to distribute to this distribution point.
