Is it possible to have direct links (say with a desktop shortcut) to certain queues and processes? I notice the URL at the top never changes.

  • I am seeing this issue when linking to Knowledge Base Articles since we enabled SSO. If the user is already signed into KACE it will direct to the correct article.

Use adminui or userui after your kbox address to see the addresses of each page.
for example yourkboxaddress/adminui/ticket_list.php?QUEUE_ID=4 would take you to the ticket list of queue #4

  • Actually the shortcut still doesn't function correctly. It opens and redirects to ticket_list.php
    • if you are using /adminUI it should work just fine. Test on different browsers as it might be a browser issue.
      • i need it to be for /userUI actually.

        It opens with Chrome...
        First it starts to open the form, then it suddenly redirects to the main ticket page (ticket.list.php). Once this is open in the browser, if i click the shortcut again, it opens and goes to the correct URL... But only if i leave that first tab open (meaning i am logged in already)
