Desktop Shortcut not Installed
Hi,
I am currently working with blackberry Desktop Manager 4.6.When i install the apps in user mode an desktop shortcut is available.But when i install the apps in silent mode using /qb the desktop shortcut is not installed but the apps is installed .The source is in Msi.What would be the problem?

Most likely, the shortcut is being installed by a Custom Action (CA) and that CA is only present in the User Interface sequence. Using a transform, copy that CA to the Execute sequence or set its attributes so that it runs at least once in an installation. Generally, I copy CAs and rename the original so that in any log I might make, I can see which CA ran. For example, I'd add "_UI" to the User Interface sequence CA, "_EI" to the Execute Immediate CA and, if relevant, "_ED" to the Execute Deferred CA.
