Dell Perc H310 Drivers for Precision T 3600 for KBE

Good afternoon,

I have a Dell Precision T3600 that I would like to get deployed. After fussing with the PXE boot issue and getting it to boot with a USB drive, the KBE environment can't see the hard drive. I went to the driver feed and confirmed that I downloaded the drivers for the T3600 x64 but noticed that only drivers for Windows Vista were listed. I went to the dell site to see if I could find the drivers for the perc card there, but under the T3600 there is only firmware listed for the card, no drivers or os deployment drivers. I've search ITNinja and google but still no luck. I'm hoping that someone that had the issues with the PXE boot were able to resolve the Perc RAID card issue as well. Thanks!!

As for the PXE boot issue, we've been having this issue with our T3600, T3610, and T7610 workstations and could not get KACE to see the C drive.  However, after troubleshooting with the hard drive, we found that plugging the hard drive into SATA0 allowed KACE to deploy a scripted install. KACE didn’t recognizethe drive when it was in HDD1 for some reason, but switching it over to SATA0 worked.  This worked for me on BIOS A13.

As for loading the Perc RAID drivers, we have not run into the issues that you are experiencing.

We also ran into this issue, using DISM to inject the driver into our existing sysprepped image seemed to work well.

Comments:
  • you can also copy the drivers to windows\inf as a mid level task for existing images

  • I remember seeing that, but I need to try it. Very cool idea! - nheyne 11 years ago
