configuring RSA
The K2000 admin guide seems to overlook the steps to configure the KBOX extender virtual machine Host Name, Domain, and network. Is this not neccessary?

It is necessary if you plan on using the RSA. Provide whatever host name, domain, and network settings as appropriate for the environment (just like you did when you first set up your K2). Be sure to link your RSA to your K2 and vice versa.
