Can I patch the InstallExecuteSequence table with an msp?
As the title says, can I patch an entry in the InstallExecuteSequence table with an msp? Is this something that is allowed as I'd read that you could only modify certain tables with a msp patch.

We have an msi that has been deployed but will not uninstall due to an incorrect sequence entry in the InstallExecuteSequence table. I was hoping to fix this by amending the sequence on the problem entry but when I applied the patch to update the table it updated it but didn't fix the Internal Error 2731 . 0 message when trying to uninstall the msi. I have now found a work around so not to worry.

Shouldn't be impossible, could you explain what you are trying to do.
