Are you facing this problem, only with your package ? Is the source working fine ? Or is the issue with the source itself ?

source is working fine..and i have provided with a msi i think its vendor msi. how we can differentiate between vendor msi and extracted msi? so when i am installing msi it is working fine but when i am installing msi with mst created it is showing me error that application cannot be launched because of missing ixasapi.dll file. i donot know what i can do because when i am checking files and folders in mst that perticular file is in the location. - shilesh1982 11 years ago

Did you do a response transform, did you create the transform in orca, what have you added/removedin transform? If you just create a transform and not make any changes to it do you still get error? - oreillyr 11 years ago

i did created a response transform and i created through install shiled admin studio. i did not added anything in transform execpt the archive server name which should be added during installation. but i am getting the same error if i am installing application with msi and mst.. - shilesh1982 11 years ago
You are creating an mst, which would indicate that you have a vendor msi or you have extracted msi from executable. Can you verify the source integrity and post back please.

Hi
It happens sometimes when you try to create MST the file attributes get changed and the error will be prompted as missing files even if the files are present, compare the chagnes of msi and mst in file table.

Download missing .dll file from a reputable source and import into your application adhering to the usual component rules and register according to your company standards
