calling custom actions during setup initialization dialog process ...
Hi guys,we have requirement i.e how would like to call custom actions during setup initilization dialog ? here we are using basic msi projects ..
generally we call custom actions after setup initilization dialog not during.
i want to execute custom actions during setup initilization dialog process.
please help me any one in this .

Hi,
You can move AppSearch standard action up the order and place your custom action just under it. This will invoke your CA just at the time when setup initializes.
However, i would also like to know the nature of the custom action... And make sure you place the CA under the UI sequence if you are interested in the UI.. otherwise do that in the ExecuteImmediate...
