CA help-Binary not getting extracted

Hi all,
I am including a CA in my package using "execute program from installation" in my transform.
However, if i try to install my my app ends up giving an error related to that CA.
On further investigation we found that the exe which we placed in binary is not getting extracted to temp and hence the CA is failing.
we tried it time and again with no luck.

Plz suggest.

Correct me if I'm wrong , but files streamed into the binary table don't get extracted... So either use a CA referencing "File stored in Binary Table" or manually put next to your MSI (File from Installation Source), or in your MSI and use a CA from "File installed with product" in Deferred context after InstallFiles.

Sorry if the names for the CA types are wrong, it's been awhile since I've used Wise.

EDIT: on second look, I might have read wrong and the exe is in a binary that contains your MSI too... but if not, see above

Added to the thoughts above, also check for the sequence where you have placed this CA.

[sigh] What does a verbose log tell you? [/sigh]
