Business Objects MST Issues

Hello

I was wondering if anyone else has had silmilar problems installing Business Objects 6.5.1 using MST. When I use InstallTailor and setup the MST, I choose not to have the administration tools but when I run the install, the administration tools are added. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thank you

my first guess would be to check the condition table.

InterneToughGuy: Did you ever get this to work?

I have the same issue with Business objects XI 3.1 I am unable to install a feature set.. I tried creating a mst from REFWI, Wise Install tailor. The whole tool set seems to install no matter what I do.

If Xi is anything like 6.5, it's a mess. There's a bunch of Custom Actions which set feature states. Have a search here on AD for 'BusinessObjects': I'm pretty sure I posted in teh forum or the 'Package KB'.

Run your installation with verbose logging. Examine the log for the Admin Tools feature and see if it's conditioned in some way. Before that, however, check the log to see if the transform is being applied in the first place. The log should show that detail very early on.
