Blacklist Application Based on Connected Network

Hi,

I have an scenario where, in the client pc there are some application that need to be blacklisted when not connecting to office network, and are allowed when connecting to office network.
Is it possible to do this using K1000?

I don't think this is possible since, as far as I know, a smart label cannot be a "Meter Software Usage" label. Of course, you could do "dark magic" using Custom Ticket Rules which would add computers to the metered label based on a smart label, but that comes with it's own share of problems. Even if you got it working, I think a time lag would be inevitable: there would a time window (I would guess 2-15 minutes) in which the users could start the software before KACE realizes it should be blocked.

I was trying to comment JasonEgg post, but can't. So here is the comment:

When we blacklist some applications, the agent should have store that list somewhere in the client side right? So, i was thinking maybe we can create script to manipuate that list. Is it posible?

[I can't seem to comment either, here is my response]

Hmm, I don't know the mechanism by which apps are blocked by KACE so I can't speak to this
