Aventail 10.5.3.54
Hi
I am new to Kbox 1000. i am having issues with Managed installation. Basically i need to Unistall the previous Aventail whichever version and install with the current version of 10.5.3.54.
And i'm not so sure how to have that done
i tried those command line syntax and so on but i am not getting it right. After try to package a software i have been redirected to scripting and i dunno why.
Could anyone enlighten me with my query?

I'd recommend you do this in 2 stages. One, determine how to silently uninstall the product and two, run the uninstall/new install on the KBox.
For stage one, there should be an 'UninstallString' entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\[GUID | ProductName]. Whether it's 'GUID' or 'ProductName' depends on whether or not the original install was driven by an MSI or by a legacy installer.
For the second stage, there is a dedicated KBox forum on AppDeploy.

I'm sorry but I don't have time to write out a step-by-step guide for you.
Find the uninstall string, test it on a VM/VPC/VirtualBox first and take it from there.
