AS 400 CLient Express MSI package develpment
Hi
I am developing a MSI pacakage for AS 400 Client Express software using AdminStudio SMS edition. The pacakge creation is fine.
However when I run the MSI package I get the following error
Error 1931: The windows installer service cannot update the system files c:\common files\system\Ole db\msdadc.dll because the file is protected by windows. You may need to update you operating system for this program to work correctly
Error 1406: could not write value to key \Environment. Verify that you have suffecient access to that key, or contact your support personnel
The installaiton is successful if I ignore the error message and continue. However, when i uninstall the the software, the system crashes and there is no other way but to format and reinstall the operating system.
Could you please help me out with this issue?

IBM are now providing a Windows Installer package for iSeries Access - have a look here for how to get this installed: http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail.asp?id=871.
