Apply image error when deploying to hp probook 440 g8

Updated KBE 2 weeks ago. Recently updated SDA to version 8.2.158. Was able to apply image to same model a few weeks ago not sure what has happened between then and now other than upgrading SDA. 

Also created bootable kbe usb and when it tries to apply image it wipes the usb as if it is trying to apply the image to usb instead of ssd of laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you kept the previous KBE, boot this pc to the SDA using that KBE and see if it still works?

If it does, take a look at what was added to the new KBE as more often than not, that will be what is causing the issue.
