Anyone had success in capturing a Surface Pro 3 image in KACE? If so, how?
Hey guys,
Im trying to PXE boot into a surface pro 3 to capture the image with KACE without any luck.
I've done (what I think is) the obvious...
-Turned Secure Boot off
-hold the down vol button then turn on the SP3
it takes me to the...
Checking Media Presence....
Media Present
Start PXE over IPv4 then shows IPv6
But it doesn't boot into the KACE menu - just tries to boot into windows
Im using the recommended Microsoft ethernet cable
Has anyone done this successfully? If so, can you kindly shed some light?
regards vince

Yes I have captured one, its has been some time but works like any other tablet I have imaged.
You need to create a wim pe 5.0 x64 UEFI boot stick and boot to kace that way with a surface pro 3. You will want to have a usb hub connected to hold the uefi boot stick, ethernet dongle, keyboard and mouse. You will need to add the usb 3.0 drivers and the dongles drivers to the kbe boot.
