Software Deployment

I apologize ahead of time that I am a total Noob and I am sure that my question for some will be a complete noob question but I am looking for a bit of help. I am trying to get an .msp to deploy and it just doesn't seem to want to start. I did do a some research and came across a thread about slipstreaming the msp into original msi I have tried to get this to work several times but have had no luck. So this leads me to my 2 questions first is there a log I look at in Kace that will tell me why the msp failed to load and second can anyone give a newbie some hints of what might be causing the msp not to deploy.  Thanks in advance.
