A have about 4300 connecteds systems to my appliance and i am having communications Issues

Catalog 2 Days
Scripting Update 1 Day
Task Throughput 3

Can anyone help me?

  • Hi Fabio,

    Under the communication settings it should tell you how many are checking in per minute or second. I know you have it set to 12H right now, can you tell us what that says for clients checking in? Thanks!
  • How long have you had the current box? What server version is it running? Have you recently updated? Do you know if the issue has to do with the server not responding (b/c it's overtaxed), or a problem with agents, or a network issue, or something else?
    What are your asset history retention settings? (Settings > History > Assets)
    • About 6 months. I recently update to version 7.
      I identified it because the web navigation is too slow.
      My asset history retention is 3 months.

      This trouble is happening sometimes, principally with patching installation in progress
      • I would definitely open a support ticket to have this checked out thoroughly.

I think you should open a ticket with dell support.

I don't think the times for  updates on all this info

can be changed. The refresh intervals are hard coded

into the appliance.

  • The settings he mentioned can indeed be changed in Settings > Provisioning > Communication Settings.
