Agent push to MAC failed

After the second push attempt and confirming it on the local system (a mac mini) I can prove that the agent has been installed and is running, yet there is no recored of this machine ever checking in as there has been no invertory entry. Why is the agent running but not checking in?

Looking at the first log, this line is the key line: "K1000 agent NOT connected via AMP". It's likely that the necessary port is not open. The AMP connection runs on port 52230. You may want to double check your firewall settings on the Mac Mini and make sure this port is open.

If the port is already open (or the firewall not enabled), you may want to enable debug mode for the agent, and then do a manual force update from a command line. Then you can check the amp.log file to see what's going on.
