Advantage Database error
I am trying to sequence an app called Microniche that connects to an Advantage Database. It works fine on my sequencer, but after I loaded it on my test machine, it comes up with "Error 6420: The 'discovery' process for the Advantage Database Server failed. Unable to connect to the Advantage Database Server. axServerConnect"
So far everything I have read says this is a communication error. It mentions an ADS.ini file which I have, although it may need changed. There is also mention of NetBIOS.
Anybody have any ideas how to resolve this?

Could be that a component used to connect to the database didn't sequence correctly. Using a procmon trace might help you see the issue if it is a .dll or .ocx that isn't being loaded or registered correctly.
