Adobe reader installation 8.1.3


Hi All.,

I have an issue in Adobe Reader 8.1.3, My installation goes for uninstallting previous version Adobe 8.1.2 and secutity update SU1 . During the first lanch of my application , It goes for a selfheal. When i checked in eventvwr logs "{product code } Feature ReaderProgramFiles failed during request for component {xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx} "

Please let me know how to over come this ISSUE

Hi,

Can u be more precise.

Is the app self healing for the first time in user, if yes thn thts fine or if its being self-healing repeatedly thn tht means its not properly upgraded since the application is uninstalling the previous version.Try using the REINSTALLMODE=amus property.
OR
Try using process monitor or Filemon or regmon to check wht it does when it is try to self-heal
