Adobe Reader 8
Hi,
Basically I'm trying to install the above package so that the Browser Integration checkbox is un-checked by default but (and here's the important bit) you can enable it again if required. I have already created the mst which turns off the license page and autoupdater etc.
I know that you can set the public property DISABLE_BROWSER_INTEGRATION to YES but doing this seems to permanently uncheck the option where as setting the above property to NO allows you to check and uncheck the option at will.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Roxy.

Hi, The only relevant reg key that was captured was and HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\8.0\Originals key. Can't remember the exact key (not on site today) but it was to do with Disable Browser Integration.
What I have also noticed is that when you uncheck the Browser Integration Box this triggers a self-repair which in turn creates or deletes the following files depending on which option (check or un-check) is selected.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroPDF.dll
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\Browser\nppdf32.dll
... and also the above HKCU key.
Hope this helps,
Roxy.
