hi there

i have created an mst file for adobe reader 7, however preference that i have made only apply to the person who installed the app. so if some else logs on they do not get the correct preferences. any ideas what i could be missing?

This is such an old problem that almost all junior packagers get these days.

There are many ways to resolve this, but my preferred method is to create a broken component that will self-heal once when the user logs onto the computer. This way the MSI repairs this 'broken' component and also writes the pref information you need.

tried all that but it didn;t work. but i did resolve the problem. using direct editor, there was a component called "EnterpriseRegistry", i placed the entries in there and all is sweet!!
