Adobe product

Hello,

We have several adobe products, all with Volume License Keys (Adobe photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustratoe CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2). After making the necessary changes in the abcpy.ini and msi file, i tested my installation on a test computer and the msi is working like a charm. The "adobe bridge" and "help centre" are installed as well. But when deploying through a GPO the software is getting installed but not the adobehelp center msi file? So the "F1" key in the adobe product will not work and you get an error. Even when i add the adobe help centre msi in the GPO the help file will not work (the msi is deployed sucsesfully). This problem i´m having is for all adobe products.

Does anybody know what to do with this problem. There is nothing on the adobe site so my i hope somebody can help me.

Have you looked at the package knowledgebase for these products. It seems as though you'll need to run the MSIs for the bridge and help separately.

Hi sejacru,

meastaugh1 is right, you will need to install these separately.

Install the .msi files in this order:
InDesignCs2.msi
CommonFile.msi
HelpCenter.msi
Bridge.msi
StockPhotos.msi

I have done this but when hitting the f1 button for help (the helpcenter is pop up) i see not the help of the installed application. I get the help file off the the helpcenter itself.
so...thats why my post...

Can you verify that the help file is installed by logging the installation?

I know I ran into this one deploying via SMS. I don't recall the fix but I think it's posted on Adobe site. They've had issues with the Help Center.

That may have been it. I think I had to replace the original files.
