Adobe Dreamweaver 9.0 CS3 Issue

Hi Friends,

Need help on below issue.

When I add license key installing Setup.exe and run the application it launches fine and doesnot ask for activation window.
If i install using MSI (I am calling Main and all other MSI's in a dummy MSI), it prompts Activation wondow when launched. It is taking license number still Activation window appears.

Has anyone faced this issue? Any ideas on how to resolve this ?

I believe for all the Adobe CS3 products that you HAVE to install it from the setup.exe - If I remember correctly this is the only way that the FLEXLM licensing will work for an unattended install.
are you using the application.xml.override file?

yes, i am using application.xml.override file. As per our standards we cannot install applications through Setup.exe.

Making the assumption that Dreamweaver 9.0 CS3 is the same or similar to Indesign CS3, thats incorrect. CS3 can be re-packaged into an MSI. You can still use the application.xml.override file to supress registration, EULA and updates.
