Adobe CS3

Does anyone know how to install Adobe CS3 products using ".\Adobe CS3\setup.exe" --mode=silent --deploymentFile=".\Adobe CS3\install.xml", BUT not SILENTLEY? I want to have a progress bar so people know the install is working. It was so nice using abcpy.ini. I logged on to adobe's customer support web site and created a support ticket asking this and they replied saying they needed more details for my issue. So, I sent them the deployment.pdf and wrote a long dissertation on how their install worked and asked if there were other options and I have not heard back from them. I've tried mode=full, and other things. I even tried mode=? to see if it would tell me.

Thanks

Good luck....

I have a ticket open with them on a slew of things. Basically, the only thing thheir installer will do now is install the software silently. You can't configure shortcut locations, you can't configure dialogs, you can't have it do upgrades, you can't have it change anything about settings andn what not.

The serial number, and few items for suppression are all that can be modified.

Thank you Adobe for going back 5 years in the world of customizable installations!

After going back and forth a few times with customer support at adobe they finally told me I need to talk to technical support. Thanks for taking 5 days to tell me that. At least I'm not the only one not liking their new installs.
