Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0
Hi, I am making a tranforms from vendor MSI and in the transform i am adding a new property name "ISX_SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx " but when after installing i launch the shortcut it say's "Serial Key is not correct, please quit".
I tried "ISX_SERIALNUM=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" also but didn't work.
Help needed.

Adobe published a tool to create transforms (or alter the MSI - my preference is to create a transform) for the Acrobat products. It's called the InstallShield Tuner. Each version of Acrobat has a different tuner.

InstallShield Tuner 7.0
Adobe Customization Wizard 8
It is far, far simpler to use the customization program - it will allow you to embed the serial # in the transform, and much much more.
BTW, these are referenced in the packaged knowledge base.

ORIGINAL: pbrutschAlways, always, ALWAYS use a transform. Futzing with vendor MSIs is a guaranteed route to permanent mental illness. Adobe MSIs in particular are, in general, indescribable.
