Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Pro

Hi,

Has anyone ever had any problems converting files to pdf from within Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Pro?
When I open the application, click File -> Create PDF -> From File.

If I choose a .doc file that is local, i.e. users desktop it opens fine, but when I am trying to open the file from a UNC path it fails to convert and the application hangs.

Are there any known workarounds for converting files to pdf's from UNC paths?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Just a thought .... but do you have more than readonly access to the UNC path folder ? I was thinking along the lines that Acrobat may need to create temporary working file(s) in the same folder as the source document you need to convert (?)
