I am trying to find study material and online resouces for 70-401 exam (TS: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007) preparation.

Would anyone know any online resources are available for preaparing this certification? Any e-book etc.?

Any help in this regard is most appreciated.

Take a look at the Microsoft Training site. Search for training for 70-401; MS offers an online training course, and you'll be able to find any MS Press books (if they exist) for your exam on the learning site.

As far as I know there are no self-study guides availabe for this certification. You have to attend the Microsoft training course to prepare for the examination.

There is a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Administrator's Companion which is a reference book rather than a structured study guide.

Unless any other books have been recently published that I haven't seen that's just how it is.

In fact, if you look at the certification track of other products it points you to the course and any relevant self-study guides - with SCCM you just get the course option.

I would add that this was one of the easiest MS exams I've taken. If you've been admin-ing SCCM for a few months, you should pass.

I took it a few months back and scored my highest mark for any exam I've taken...so it must be pretty easy ;-), brush up on your knowledge of OS Deployment, Maintenance windows and all of the new features that have been built in since SMS 2003.

Good luck (unless of course this post is too late & you've already taken it)
