Adding ISO to the K2000 boot menu

PROCEDURE TO ADD ISO TO K2 BOOT MENU
Required tools.
1. Kbe Manupulator 
2. K2000 media manager
3. Windows Deployment Kit (ADK) for windows 8. Link http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30652
4. Windows Automated installation kit for windows 7. Link http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5753
5. Bootable ISO (I will use Hiren Boot iso)

First logon to your k2



Make sure you have installed the above required tools. 

Run KBE Manupulator tool as administrator



choose the toolkit as below 
click choose toolkit


Enter the required info (sample in below picture)
click next



Click Add features option 



Go to upload a custom KBE tab



Click browse and choose the Iso 
click Create KBE option

Wait for a few min and you will see k2000 media manager running automatically and adding your iso to K2 boot menu 

once the upload is done you will see as below picture



Now you have successfully uploaded Iso to K2.

  • KBE Manipulator should automatically run in administrator mode, you shouldn’t have to specifically select it. You only get the menu to select which PE version if you have multiple versions installed. Glad this is of use!!

      • I'm not saying the information is wrong, just want to call out some things that others may come across that could be different when they try to replicate the instructions.
