LMS is one of those applications that was designed for an old operating system and a specific architecture along with multiple integrations and connected applications such as office and Java.

when sequencing for windows 7 64 there are the following considerations that must be taken in

sequence on a 64bit OS for 64bit and 32bit for 32bit deployment.
this is due to the application being hard coded to look for c:\program files, and unfortunately the way the call is done by LMS systemguard cannot intercept and divert to x86 on 64bit versions and the application will error with unable to access c:\program files

To bypass these errors it is advised that once installed the LMS folder is copied from (X86) to regular program files this will bypass 90% of the errors noticed (note: the same will need to be done with dll's in syswow64)

in addition although not documented or detected during sequencing MSVCR70 an 100 along with MSCVCP100/70 will also needed to be included into the package as the application will fail post login with a activex error and it relates to these files

unfortunately sequencing LMS is not for the faint hearted and hopefully this tip saves you a lot of trouble
