You can remove the Rose product silently by using the following command from the installation media (CD or network copy)

rssetup.exe -silent -uninstall -product Rose98i

NOTE: To remove Rational Rose 98i thru 2002: for product use "Rose98i" for all.

Note that -auto capture is only valid for capturing install
questions. But it should not be necessary during the uninstall since basically you are only asked two questions, uninstall NutCracker, and reboot. The silent switch on uninstall, will assume yes to these questions.

Note
To install Service Release 2002.05.01 in silent mode:

1. Download the Service Release from our web site:
http://www.rational.com/support/downloadcenter/ssr/sr1.jsp?title=All%20Suites
2. Create a shared directory on a Server
3. Launch Winzip and extract rs_2002.05.01_sync_sr.exe to the shared directory just created.
4. On the client PCs, run:
\\servername\Share\Setup\Rssetup -silent
