Note

We were having some issues deploying iPass 3.74 over SCCM. The iPass .msi is calling the RestartManager Component which in about 20% of our workstation is forcing the WMI to restart, which restarts ccm. We opened a ticket with the vendor and they pushed back the blame to us. We in turn pushed back ourselves. We have not been able to reproduce that behavior.

Uninstalling
After speaking to the vendor they suggested using the 3.74 setup.exe with command lines to uninstall previous versions. The following command line they suggested is as follows.

setup.exe -s -a -s -x

They almost mentioned -x is swappable with -remove
