What a truly joyful piece of software to have to take care of.
QuickBooks Pro 2010 v19.0.4002.1098
Trying simple silent install commands was not yielding much joy, nearly got there, using the MSI log file generated by the MSI. But it became clear I was missing a few properties. (putting them into the setup.ini was getting a bit wordy too)
Luckily, this site has AdminStudio… Using the Tuner tool took care of it all! Yay
Worth noting, the install has a pre req of FlashPlayer (v9 or higher) it also requires MSXML v4.0
Also, the information below is for the (specific) install I did, a single user installation on a clean machine (so no Data migration was necessary)
The following properties were added in the MST: (& copied out of the MST with Orca, hence the TAB format, if you try a command line, remember to use the PROPERTY=Value format)
QB_USERKEY - - -
QBFULLNAME_9X QuickBooks Pro 2010
INSTALLTIMESTAMP_PRO MM/DD/2014 12:10:39 PM
SETUPINIPRODUCT QuickBooks Pro 2010
QBFULLNAME QuickBooks Pro 2010
Good luck, maybe these properties will be migrated into some of the later versions...
