The command line for  a successful silent install without any unexpected reboots is :

YourCPSinstaller.exe /s /v”/qn /norestart”


 To run the silent uninstall, use the following command:

YourCPSinstaller.exe /x /s /v”/qn /norestart”

Both the main CPS and the Powerpoint (6.56) version of cps take these arguments for a silent installation. There will be a forced reboot afterwards. Anything after the /v will be sent to the msi installer so you can probably add the no reboot option.
CPS.exe /S /v/qn

You can get the list of commands by doing CPS.exe /?
