Wise Package Studio
Hi,
I need some info about the license of wise package studio professional edition.
As per my knowledge wise supports distributed computing i.e. server on one machine and clients on other other machines
Is there seperate license for client and server installations.
do we need to buy multiple client licenses as many client machines will be connecting to wise server.

My understanding is that you will need a license for each client. The price for server or clients are the same because it is the same software. Lets say you order 5 licenses for Wise but you install Wise on the server and have 5 other users connecting using the client. Well you only need 5 licenses, not 6, because the server is just a house for the 5 users to use it. So the answer is yes, you need a license for each user.
You may want to contact Wise to see if there is some licensing for concurrent users. Like if you have 5 licenses but only 3 people are going to ever use it at one time you might get a break, but I doubt it.
