Wise pacakge studio setup on Vista
Hi,
I have installed wise package studio 7.0 on my vista laptop but facing issues in setting up the Wise repository where we need to setup the wise services database, workbench database and software manager database.
I get an error as you do not have sufficint permission to setup this. While I am an administrator on machine.
Anyone have idea what could be wrong which is stopping me to create the required datbase for wise.
Please provide your comments.

Hmmm...I'm wondering what this has to do with 'Package Development'...

What is UAC..Pls advise.

UAC is a new feature on the vista OS
if you will be repackaging apps on vista the I suggest having a look at these guide lines on vista repackaging

before you install wise on vista you will need to turn off uac
you will need to go to control panel and select user accounts
turn off uac
and restart your pc
then you can install wise

No offence but...you're going to be packaging for Vista and you asked what UAC is?!?
