WISE - Legacy Setup Conversion WSE>MSI

Has anyone tried using the Wise 7.x "Legacy Setup Conversion" tool to convert WSE/EXEs to MSIs?

How effective is it? How much intervention is required to clean up the resulting MSI's?

Also, SMS people, please take a look at this post.. people don't really watch the distribution forums and I'm trying to get some feedback:

So far, when I point the Legacy Wizard at the source EXE it recognizes that there are files to extract.

It asks for the directory to extract the assets. I point it at one, then it crashes.

It's done this on two different Wise EXEs. So far I'm not impressed.

I've used it once, to no ill effect so it does work.

ProcMon would at least show you what happened before the crash....that might help the diagnosis.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
