Wise COM Capture

I'm not a heavy Wise user, so I need some assistance here.
I'm building an MSI from scratch (not a capture/repackaging project). I've added a few DLL's to it, but Wise does nothing to them by default.
In Installshield, it will extract the COM registry info at build time. There are no additional steps.. just add the DLL and you're done.
From what I can tell, with Wise I need to register the DLL manually on my Wise Editor machine and check off some options at the component view... or run the COMCapture tool on another machine and import the registry file to my component.
Have I got this wrong? This seems unnecessarily difficult...

It seems like Wise is just puking on the particular DLLs I'm working with. I'm going to try VBScab's WiseCOMCapture script and see how that goes.

Don't Wise in front of me but you need to enable to rescan new added for advertising from the Tools menu -> Options option -> Advertising tab (from memory).
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
