Hi, I was wondering if there are any good books on the Windows Installer? I went to Amazon and did a search and all the books that showed up were rather old. I did see this one.

The Definitive Guide to Windows Installer (Expert's Voice in Net) by Phil Wilson (Apr 29, 2004)

Which looks good but it is 6 years old. Or, is there a good site that is dedicated to MSI/MST creation that gives step by step guides on process and all that jazz?

yup, that's pretty much it as far as published books. Sybase printed a VB/VBA developers guide to the windows installer but IIRC that's even older. So, it's either too specialized a topic for publishers to be interested in, or the knowledgeable people in the field are doing work and dont' have time to write it, or aren't good writers, or simply aren't interested. Or, there's so much information on line for free that there simply isn't a demand for another book.

I'm sure John McFayden or Ian (VBscab on appdeploy) are both capable of a follow up book. How about it guys?.... [:D]
