Win10 Feature Update Run Command

I have the deployment working find for feature updates. But we have about 7 locations that have horrible DSL service. And even knocking the deployment down to 1, still has issues completing. What I have done previously is set up file synchronization, pushed package to a C:\IT\ folder, and than scheduled a script to run "C:\IT\setup.exe /auto update /quiet /showoobe none" This worked, until now when I started pushing 1909. I "Like a complete idiot" deleted or modified the original so there is no way to verify that is the script that I used, but I do know, that does not work.

My question is, does anyone have any tips to get this working again? I need to run feature updates over night in a pretty short window, any work arounds or other ideas would be welcome.

Hi,

maybe the following link will help you.

With this series of blogposts you can run the inplace upgrades but you can also use only the preseeding script to synchronize the files to the local machines and then run your upgrade script locally.

    • Sven's example process should work for any build to 1909. - Kiyolaka 4 years ago
      • Yes, that´s right. You can upgrade from whatever build you want to 1909. - sven.hain 4 years ago
