Why don't I see my shared printers deployed from a windows print server in the computer inventory on my K1?

We deploy printers from a print server using GP but in the specific computers inventory, you can not see them as installed printers. Am I missing something?

It's possible to include them in the Inventory, but takes a bit to get setup.  Here's a few articles I wrote that should help get you started - the first covers the client side, the second a fix for reporting (which hopefully isn't necessary in 5.4), the third covers reporting on local printers, and the last covers the server side (in case you want/need it in a report):

Hope that helps!

I believe that the printers listed in the K1000 Inventory only include those that are configured with local ports - LPT, USB or IP - and not network print server ports.
