Why Does Windows Installer Run Everytime I run an MSI I created with Wise?
I have probably a stupid question. I created an MSI with setup capture in Wise Package Studio. When I install this MSI locally it runs fine. When I install this MSI via our Altiris server, it installs fine but everytime open the application, Windows Installer runs for a bit and then the application opens. I used the ALLUSERS=1 switch but that didnt seem to help. Any ideas?

There seems to be some user data in the application which is set as a keypath and is getting deleted when the application closes.
You need to check eventvwr and logs in there which will tell you which component id is causing this self heal. Then you need to find that component in your package and check what is the keypath and why this application requires a self heal.
