I want to delete two categories from my helpdesk queue, but the trash icon has disappeared on both, I removed all tickets under these categories and they are still not removable

You cannot delete a category if a ticket, closed or open, has it selected. you will have to go through the tickets that have that category and change it to something else before being able to delete it. 

You can use Ticket rules to find and change to do a mass update. Then the trash can icon will appear.

  • I have deleted all the work orders possible due to this being the beginning of configuration and am still unable to get the trash can back to delete a category value. Is there any other way that this can be accomplished?
    • Same question... I hate that I can't do this.. and I understand why but still annoying.
