Can you add more than one manager to a role so that tickets can be seen by multiple users?

  • Managers as managed per user, not role, and at this point each user can only have one manager. You could add the other person as a CC in the ticket, that won't allow them to see the actual ticket but they will receive notifications from it. Not sure if this might be a valid workaround for your environment.
  • In 8.0 the CC user is supposed to be able to view and comment on the tickets but that isn't working. I added a manager to a user and the manager still can't see the tickets.
  • If I needed more than one manager to view the tickets could I make a group,add all the people to it and make that group the manager?
    • scarpent, did you ever find a solution to this issue?

      I have some VPs who want to be able to see the tickets of their direct report employee's staff as a way to keep a "finger on the pulse" of their department's day to day.
